My collaboration with The Master Storytellers, who create luxury coffee table books for high-end clients, began in 2024.

The project shown here was photographed in 2025, when I captured Johannesburg’s Saxon Hotel for a book celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Once a private home, and the place where Nelson Mandela lived following his release from prison, the hotel carries a layered and remarkable history. The work explored the hotel’s people, its art, its atmosphere, and the way it lives within the city around it.
