Every image presented on this site originates from real spaces, real materials, and real light. My practice is grounded in authorship, presence, and collaboration.

Image Creation

All commissioned photography and film work is captured in-camera, on location or in studio, using professional equipment and considered lighting.

I do not use generative AI to fabricate environments, products, people, or moments represented as commissioned or documentary work.

Authenticity is central to the value of an image - particularly in interiors, hospitality, portraiture, and wine & spirits, where materiality and atmosphere matter.

Post-Production

Refinement is part of the craft.

Post-production may include colour grading, tonal balancing, detailed retouching, and compositing where creatively or commercially appropriate. These processes enhance clarity and atmosphere while remaining faithful to the subject.

AI-assisted tools embedded within professional software (such as intelligent masking, precision clean-up, or noise reduction) may be used selectively to support efficiency and technical precision - never to distort reality or misrepresent a space, product, or narrative.

Any significant digital manipulation beyond standard photographic practice would be discussed and agreed in advance.

Generative & Synthetic Media

Should a project require conceptual or synthetic imagery, this would be:

• Clearly defined at commissioning stage

• Transparently communicated

• Explicitly agreed in writing

Synthetic work will never be presented as documentary photography.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

Client work - including private residences, unreleased campaigns, distilleries, vineyards, and brand environments - is treated with strict discretion.

Imagery is not uploaded to public AI training platforms, nor used to train generative systems.

Trust is fundamental.

Intellectual Property

All commissioned imagery remains protected under copyright and governed by agreed licensing terms.

The creation of derivative AI-generated works from commissioned images without written permission is not authorised.
